Mindfulness and Me Time

When did you last have some “me time”? What about going for a walk after dinner, when everyone is in front of the TV, for a contemplative stroll? Sometimes, even just a short break, without having demands made upon one can be refreshing. Have you tried stopping to look at your home from the other side of the street? “Me time” is for reflection, for savouring feelings of endearment and for indulging one’s innermost cravings.

Tips

1. Switch off your devices

2. Slow down

3. Schedule a “meeting” with yourself

4. Indulge in a naughty treat

5. Take the long way home
